5 out of 5 starsLove my hoop! It arrived before I expected (which was a great surprise). It looks beautiful. It was easy to unfold and the instructions for doing so were easy to follow. I've not had a huge amount of time to practice so still can't keep the hoop up but I will be back again for my next hoop!

5 out of 5 starsLove this hoop, the weight is really good and it's easy to collapse for travel. Only issue is that the tape scuffs fairly easily so it's good to have some spare gaffer tape

Frequently asked questions
When will my item be shipped?
Hoops:
All hoops are made to order (within approximately 2 working days, but can take up to 5 working days during busy times) and will be shipped on the day the hoop has been completed.
Ready to ship items:
Items listed in the ready to ship section will be posted within 1-2 working days.
How do I open up my beginner or dance hoop?
This is something that is very difficult to describe in writing, you want to be able to open up the hoop like a butterfly opens its wings, to make a figure 8 shape. Locate the connectors and open the hoop from the opposite side of these, so that the connectors are together in the middle of the figure 8. Holding the connectors, pull the hoop open and wiggle until symmetrical.
I am aware that this description is in no way going to help anyone, so I would recommend consulting YouTube on how to collapse a travel hoop/infinity hoop/figure 8 hoop and you will do fine!
One last note: hoops should not be permanently stored in the collapsed position as this will warp the tubing.
What type of hula hoop should I buy?
Most people new to hula hooping will do just as well to opt for a "Dance Hoop", which are moderately weighted and a good all-rounder hoop.
The beginner weighted hoop is the heaviest tubing I offer and is mainly for those who feel less coordinated or want to start slowly and build their skills at a more gradual pace.
Polypro hoops are the lightest hoops and are good for off-body moves. They are difficult to use for waist/shoulder hooping unless you already know the feeling of the move.
What size hula hoop should I buy?
For beginner and dance hoops: A good starting point for is to measure the distance between the floor and your belly button, and then rounding up by 2 sizes. If you're still not sure, bear in mind that the bigger the hoop is, the easier it will be to use. When you are learning, your hoop can never really be too big, but it can definitely be too small!
For polypro: This is more difficult to answer, but I would say your first polypro can be any size. If you go for the bigger sizes (32" - 36") you can always trim the hoop down if it is too big!
